Consider buying a tool like "Partition Magic".
It was not particularly great at getting
rid of LILO. What I did was installed a boot
manager on top of LILO, then I uninstalled
the boot manager, which got rid of the boot
managers.
FYI. I have been using some inexpensive shareware
called "Parition Manager" that works pretty well for
NT Server! But I do not know how well it would
handle LILO. Note it does work in GUI mode, also
it can do scripts to restore a boot parition, which
will reboot your computer twice.
