grub is included in mandrake btw and it offers you the choice of that or lilo.
As far as the original question, it depends on where the bootloader(s) were
installed. They can be installed in the drive master boot record, or on the
start of the partitions themselves. The best bet under DOS/windows (not sure
if it is the same for NT, but most likely NT will have some equivalent if you
type FDISK /? and read the result) is to run FDISK /MBR as that will clear the
master boot record. (the MBR is the default most linux dists use to install
lilo)
