Replace it before a failure causes a thermal overload and frys your
CPU.

My favorite cooler right now?  The Termaltake Volcano II.  Cheap
(<$10) and ugly, but fairly quiet (4500rpm) and extremely effective
(better than many, much more costly and louder fans).  Will support
even >>1GHz Athlons.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but don't Socket-A/462 fans also
fit Socket-370 CPUs (as well as the new P4s)?  Gosh, I've been
Athlon so long (over a year now), I've honestly forgot.
