Re: Article in Kalamazoo Gazette

Last night when I was reading the paper and ran across this article I was
shocked. I wanted to know what KLUG was going to do. As being just a member
of the listserve and have not been to a meeting in over a year and a half I do
not know what goes on at the meeting; however, whether or not KLUG was right
in what happened to this gentleman I thought even if KLUG did nothing wrong
that it maybe in the best interest of the group to make a public apology that
this did happened and that KLUG is sorry that this did occur. Maybe no one in
the group may feel this way but I thought that if KLUG sent a letter to the
editor that it would be and apology to this gentleman that it would look
better for the group. Like I said in my first email about this KLUG has been
getting a lot of good press from the gazette if the group say we're sorry that
this happened we are not using the gazette to call anyone a lair, but it does
show that KLUG does care and does want to help everyone from Linux newbies to
Linux Gods with problems and howto's.

Mr. Starling could have opened a big can of worms any people that fell
that KLUG has done something wrong when dealing with them now have found a
forum that will print there true or not true remarks which could not only hurt
KLUG but Linux growth. Or maybe I am just out in left field on this. I
really would like to see KLUG say that they are sorry that this happened and
assure people that is not how KLUG conducts user question.
