Sure. I usually stick a paper clip or something along that line just far enough into the back to stop the fan on the power supply. If that's the source of your noise then get a can of compressed air and blow out the dust. Not a bad idea anyway as long as your there. If the noise doesn't go away your looking at replacing either the fan (if you can find one) or the power supply.
