URL for a leading book on Linux-based networking
A number of people have asked me about this book, which I had mentioned in
some private conversations, and perhaps a meeting or two.
http://sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/LDP/network-guide
You can buy the book for about $22.50, or you can download it from
the above directory for no charge. It's about 350 pages, but if you have
a good hole-puncher, it'll make a nice looseleaf addition to your bookshelf.
Also, in machine-readable form, you can scan it, etc. Note that it's avail-
able in several forms, including HTML.
There's a subdirectory with everything in Spanish, in case you want to prac-
tice.
There's lots of interesting stuff one level up from this URL, such as a guide
for sysadmins, kernel hackers, and so on.
Have fun! See you Sunday!
Regards,

PS: Sunday I'm presenting a talk on setting up your machine with multiple
operating systems.
