User Groups
Howdy klug'ers,
There is a new computer related user group in town that may be
of interest to some KLUG members who are involved with networks.
It's called the "Networking Professionals user group".
I understand some members run Linux networks.
They've only had two meetings so far, and already had an attendance
of 10 people at the second meeting. I just learned of this group,
and haven't been to a meeting yet, but hope to attend one in the
near future to check it out.
More information can be found on their web page at:
http://www.net-link.net/~tgettig/netmeet.htm
You will also find meeting dates and times there, as well as
directions to the meeting location.
You can also contact Tony Gettig at tgettig@kech.com
They have a mailing list, althought it's not automated.
Tony can add you to the list if you're interested.
P.S. I also checked into their meeting site as a backup for KLUG,
but I'm sorry to say it doesn't look like it will work for us.
It's a government building, and they only get to use it because
their network administrator works there. Oh well . . . :(
