Meeting Start Time: 3:45 pm
Number of attendees: 9
The meeting started off with a battle against Upjohn's projection equipment,
which we managed to win by flipping switches at random for 15 minutes. After
our triumph, we got down to buisness with Scott Yelling's presentation on "VI"
the universal unix text editor. Scott gave a great presentation, and we all
learned alot.
After the technical half of our meeting was over, we spoke a bit on how we are
going to organize our meetings. We decided that in order to make any
decisions during a meeting, we need to have a certain number of people
present. After the idea was kicked around, we finally settled on two motions,
of which were voted on. Since we haven't officially decided on which we are
going to go by, we really need to get everyone's vote on these motions. I am
going to send out a seperate e-mail describing these two motions, and we want
everyone to vote on them. At the end of the week I will tally the votes up,
and present the findings to the meeting on February 1st.
That is about where we left it on Sunday, hope we see you all on the first.
Until then, see ya.
