Are you talking about ICQ on Linux, or ICQ on Windoze?

Assuming Linux, since this is a Linux mailing list . . . :{)
I was wondering myself if ICQ even ran on Linux, since I'd heard
before that it's Windoze only software. I went to one of the main
ICQ web pages, and they only had software for Windoze. :(

Then I was off to dejanews power search. Filtering in only the Linux
newsgroups, and searching for ICQ, I learned that the Java version of
ICQ runs on Linux. Here is an article that explains how to get ICQ
on Linux working: http://search.dejanews.com/getdoc.xp?AN=339056758
There is other useful info about Linux-ICQ on dejanews also.

I've never run ICQ personally, but I hope this helps!
