... Suppose you're using one of those spiffy window managers that pages 
around, and in one of them you've got a web browser, and it's pointed to
a page that has one of those animated GIFs (like our home page, which is
http://klug.armintl.com).  That thing is merrilly chugging along, doing
whatever it's doing, and now you click (or whatever) on your pager and
you're looking at something else.

   Is that GIF still running around?
