Computer Sale Event

I rrived at 10 AM, and after entering the sale, spoke with Richard Nasgy. He
was pleased to hear that we hd a link to his page, and I placed literature on
one of the entry tables. Without other KLUG memebers there, I was reluctant
to take a table myself, but took some time to wander about, watching with some
satisfaction as people picked up the 120 peices of literature I brought along.

At 10:30 I went outside to see if anyone else was coming, and no one did. But
it didn't matter; our stuff was going like hotcakes, and a glance in a few
waste cans saw that no one was throwing it away. Maybe people were interested!
I left at about 11:15, having seen no one else, and returned at about 1:15,
running into Matt almost at once.

I spent the rest of the sale period walking around with Matt or another (non-
KLUG) friend. We talked to one merchant who was reading the KLUG material, and
while he said it sounded interesting, it was "way over my head". He had been
a gardener before getting into computer sales. Oh well, too small a sample to
say much.

Anyway, we didn't disappoint anyone, since we hadn't made much of a commitment
to be there! The next computer sale is in June, and if we make some prepara-
tions, we can make a very good impression then.
