To anyone interested in a career in the Linux field:

Redhat is considering creating a certification called the
Red Hat Certified Engineer Program.

They are proposing three different levels of certification.
The Basic Certificate, the Server Endorsement, and the 
Advanced Networking and Security Endorsement. 

This program is still being developed (very BETA) and this 
information hasn't even been released to the general public yet.
(don't ask how I found out :)
