Do you have a .fetchmailrc file?

Not to be nitpicky, but the man page indicates UPPER CASE for protocol names.
I know, these things are supposed to be case insensitive, right? I take 
man pages seriously (at least the first time 'round), so if it says YO MAMA
I wouldn't type "yo mama" and asumme....

Does this USER_ID have a password? Fetchmail may be balking 'cuz you don't 
pass one.....

Just a few thoughts.

It's probably a good idea to use fetchmail from a .fetchmailrc file. It's 
easier, more permanent, and has other advantages.
