All of us have the right to use the mailing list to ir anything we don't
like about the group, and how it can be improved. The minute-taker at
any meeting has the right to put his own comments on the minutes, as long
as they are so labeled.

It is desirable that everyone should know as much as possible about what
we do, and I don't believe that either Bruce or I considered any announcement
of this effort until it was delivered. In the future, we can certainly make
these efforts known earlier.

I accept responsibility for this choice, and will continue to use my judgement
in the future about when I feel it's appropriate for the group as a whole to
be informed. If I err on the side of too much detail, please let me know.

Quite so. It may not be appropriate to have everyone inform everyone of
what they're doing all the time. We can see how a more open way of
conducting ourselves works out, and adjust it further, if need be.
Oh, the Linux Expo link has been rewmoved from our links page, about
three hours ago. Linux Expo is in progress this weekend, so it was
kind of late to keep the registration link around. Not only have several
links been added to our web site link page in the last month, but many
of these sites now link back to us, which increases our visibility all
over the Linux community.
