It sounds like something is already using (listening on) port 22.
Solaris should have some kind of a "netstat" program to show what
ports are being used by what processes.  I'd check that first.

BTW I checked, and you can do what you were asking me about before, 
limiting connection to the sshd machine only to yourself, by using 
pure RSA authorization, even with a dynamic IP address.

Hopefully you will be able to attend Adam's presentation on ssh tomorrow.
