I think I understand where you are coming from.
Since Scott was so quick to jump in and accept responsibility
for this, I figured I should point out that Bob and I knew about
this project before Scott did, so we were the ones who should
have spoke up first.

That's a very good idea, and I agree.
Maybe we should come up with a check list of things to go over
at meetings so we don't forget?
