It might be easier to install than something else, but once the smoke ckears,
IMO they're very much more the same than they are different.
The issue here is that if you're always doing new things, the smoke never
really clears.

IMO it's about as complete, and until a standard emerges (which may be coming
soon as part of LSB -- Linux Standard Base), it's pretty much taste, habit and
adaptability. There are advantages (and weknesses) to each method. (which
may well make a good additonal thread or meeting panel discussion).
It's best to know the distribution menthod adapted by the Linux distribu-
tion[s] you're using, and get things done along those lines. There may not
be a magic bullet for a while.
