The "someone" Bob spoke of is me.
I currently have Redhat 5.0 in this format. All updates from Redhat
(up to a couple weeks ago anyway) on my CD (called BSware 5.0).
This CD only contains the software that is legal to copy and distribute.
Exactly the same thing you would get, if you FTP'ded it from RH.
If you give me a blank CDR at a meeting, I will make a copy of
BSware and bring it to the mext meeting for you to pick up.
If you don't have a blank CDR, I will sell you one of mine,
for $2. (about the price I paid for it)
I currently have Official RH 5.1 in hand, I have to remove the
commercial software (Metro X, BRU, Real, etc) from the CD before
I can legally make copies of it. I haven't had a chance to do
this yet, but plan on having it done in the next couple of weeks.
It won't be ready by this week's meeting, but maybe next.
If we have time this meeting, I can give a little talk about
my initial impression of RH5.1. I also will have a laptop
at the meeting running 5.1 that people can look at.
I've had some problems with some of my software I compiled
on earlier releases of Redhat not being upward compatible
and not running on 5.1. I'll give more details about this
at the meeting.
