Meeting June 9th - Beginners' Meeting

This meeting is specifically intended for beginners and prospective Linux users.
Some of the more frequent presenters and more experienced members will be 
available to answer questions. You may also bring your computer to the 
meeting, and have Linux installed on it, at no charge.

We'll start off this meeting with an overview of Red Hat Linux version 5.1, which 
was released on June 1st. Bruce Smith will provide a summary of what's new, some 
impressions, and will answer some questions about the new system. He'll
also bring a laptop to the meeting, running with the new release.

Our meeting place, THIS TUESDAY at 6 PM is:

    Pharmacia and Upjohn (Building 298)
    That's the north-east corner of Portage St. and Bishop Rd.
      (Bishop is the first street that goes from Sprinkle to Portage
       south of the airport)
    Entrances to the parking lot are about 500 feet north (on Portage)
              and 400 feet east (on Bishop) of the intersection.
    There will be specific directions at the front door when you get there,

           Bldg. 298 is a large glass building with a sloping front.
