Warning about ALR

This is just a warning to any I.T. people out there not to buy any
servers from Gateway/ALR at this time.  This is from person experience
and affirmed up by an internal bulletin shown to me by the salesman from who I
purchased my servers.  Their merger has degenerated into absolute chaos.
My attempt to aquire a repair part for my ALR 6x6 has been a lesson in
how bad tech-support can be.  After speaking to three people they agreed
to ship the part,  I spent an hour on hold (Tuesday) while the representative 
attempted to connect to their database, then he said the part would be shipped
next day air. It is now Thursday and I just learned they "lost" the part and
will be shipping it today (so they claim).  The lonely saga of the IS dept.
