Paper Tray

Does anyone know how to send an Init string to a printer accessed via a ghost
script queue.  I have a IBM 4019 in my home office with three paper trays but a
job from 'gs' will only print on the default tray.  When 'gs' starts up it
resets the printer,  so sending a string before gs starts up doesn't work.  For
text files I can control which drawer it sucks from.  Note: The IBM 4019 speaks
PCL just like an HP LaserJet.
