Trouble in Windoze 98 land?

     PC makers warn of Windows 98 problems 

     (CNN) - Three computer makers
     have notified customers about
     conflicts between their PCs and the
     new Windows 98 operating system. 
     Dell and Toshiba are warning
     customers on their web sites to put off
     installing Windows 98 until they can 
     make their machines more compatible. 
     In addition, Compaq has posted a list
     of conflicts and work-arounds
     related to Windows 98 on its web
     site.  Microsoft officials did not
     immediately comment on the warnings.

Does anybody know any more details?
I haven't been able to find anything at Dell's web site, 
or CNN's site either.

If W98 is having trouble with those major hardware vendors, 
it sounds to me like it's more if a software compatibility
problem, than a hardware compatibility issue!
