RE: Regarding the splitting up of mailing lists

I thought the bulletin board idea was excellent! I would like a place I
can go *or at least a place that I can start at* for some answers to
basic questions. *Newbie here* Since I have joined the list, I enjoy
seeing the various topics and discussions raised. Granted, most of
which are far over my head currently, I have taken some of the messages
and done a bit of archiving of various addys and things I think will be
useful and deposited them in a seperate hotmail account so I have them
for my own reference.

I kinda think since we haven't heard but from a handful of people on
this, *the problem of excess mail* that _maybe_ this is not a big
concern for most subscribers to the mailing list. *either that, or they
are deleting the mail unopened* Granted, I don't know the size of the
mailing list, but I would think that it is lots more than the people who
have responed. Is it worth us trying to do some sort of polling of the
mailing list to get a concensus? *Send out a message with a subject
line like "PLEASE RESPOND"*

Just some thoughts. Thanks for reading
