KDE is very alpha, more so than it first appears. I played with it for
several hours awhile ago and dismissed it as one dangerous piece of software.
It leaks memory like a spagetti strainer, the file manager can wipe out ALL
your files, and it just seemed to get confused sometimes.

I use fvwm95 which consumes the least memory of all the wm's I've tested (I
haven't tested old one such as twm). Afterstep and it's ilk are pretty bad,
but KDE is crazy. Open look is pretty good as well, about neck and neck with
fvwm95. But these don't have fancy drag and drop features either. For money
CDE is available for Linux, I'm really waiting for a review of this. And
wether or not it works on a monochrome terminal (I have two nice 19" b/w
x-terms on which Word Perfect is a dream come true).

Not that I found, it is DOG slow.
