How do I get my NE-2000 card to work?

The problem is that the card did not have the correct values in
bytes 14 and 15 of the SA PROM on the card.  The problem is
resolved by using the 0xbad override, as in lilo.conf:

        'linux ether=0,0x340,0,0xbad,eth0'

Doh!. Using that command line with lilo works, using the correct ioport of
course.
Wierd. I've had many different ne2000 cards and this is the most stubborn.
Normally i do a ether=0x340,eth0 and it works, (or whereever it is).
