Report on Par.Port Devices

Someone awhile back asked my about support for Parallel port devices under
Linux, but at his point I haven't got a clue who it was, and I lost the
message. But here is the general take on things:

Most ATAPI based parrallel port devices are supported including
parallel port hard drives, cdroms, and the tape backup drive
	from Microsolutions.

Most SCSI based parrallel port devices are supported including
	the ZIP.

The Ditto/Exabyte/Iomega (all Ditto) parrallel port tape drives
are under development, and I have it from the developer himself,
that a version of ftape that supports these drives will be
released in August of this year.

The Connectrix Q Cam, both color and black and white are supported
	with additional software.

Note: all the above support is in the 2.0.35 kernel which was
just released. It only supports ONE device per port, device
chaining is supported in the developement series kernels
	2.0.100+.
