I have used AIX extensively, the command set is much the same but way more
primitive (the GNU tools are more advanced and flexable), the init scheme seems
to be much the same but you have a tool called SMIT that makes all the changes
for you (or not, as the case may be).  All in All very similar,  except they
augment lpd with another daemon called qdaemon which is a real piece of $%#&.
 AIX is good, they are very similar, Linux is better.
