Help with un-install...
I have a system with 2 hard drives. The C: drive is 270 megs, and the D: drive is 540 megs. I had DOS/Win95 installed on the C: drive before I installed Linux, and the D: drive was completely empty, and dedicated to the Linux install.
During the install, I selected LILO to install on the Boot Record portion of the C: drive. Now, I would like to go back to DOS/Win95, so I remeoved all of the Linux stuff from the D: drive - DOS FDISK'ed it - reformatted, etc - and all was OK with that drive, but the LILO always came up during boot from the C: drive.
So, I DOS/FDISK'ed the C: drive and reformatted it - but LILO still comes up during a boot from the C: drive.
How do I get rid of LILO from the C: drive boot record? I read in one of the HOWTO's that it could be done by using FDISK /MBR - but that command is not available in DOS 5.0, 6.0, or 6.22...
Thanks in adavnce for any info which may be of help...
