I can test it on an Optra R (LexMark) if you can send be the output that your
program sends.  Did you use the Redhat printtool to create the printcap entry,
 or did you make one by hand?  Either way, could we see it.  I have an IBM 4019
(Lexmark) that prints PCL without a problem.  I assume the printer doesn't have
the prostscript card?
