Upcoming SPECIAL Events!

Afternoon all!

I just wanted to point out a few things to the group that are upcoming
special events. The first one being on October 27- Our Halloween Bash! We
are going to have some Game demos, food and our 50/50 raffle! *For those of
you that are not sure what a 50/50 raffle is, it's where you get 1/2 the
money from all of the ticket sales! That's right, everybody's favorite
present... cold hard cash!!* The tickets will be on sale this coming
Tuesday up until the night of the drawing. Stay tuned for more details on
this, as we are working on a couple of really cool extra things to go along
with the raffle and the party. More details as I have them.

On November 17th, there will be a Panel Discussion. We have 4 speakers that
will represent a particular distribution of Linux. We even have a guest
speaker, Robert Keisling, coming in from Port Huron to represent Debian.
There will be more on this topic on the website shortly, so check it out
later this week for details. You won't want to miss this one!!!

And finally, on December 15th, Robert Keisling will be joining us again for
a special presentation on installation configuration, the latest and
greatest office automation software for Linux and the usage of some
commercial packages that are available. Robert's complete Bio and outline
for this presentation will be available on the website shortly.

As you can see, we have a lot on our agenda, and I am hoping to keep it that
way. If you have anything you would like to share with the group, I would
very much appreciate hearing from you directly. Your participation and
support of the group is much appreciated.

Remember to buy your 50/50 raffle tickets at the next meeting! The more $$
there is in the pot, the more you can win!!!! Good luck to all!

Thanks for your time and support of KLUG. If you have any suggestions,
