 What happens to the other 50?  I assume it goes into some kind of KLUG
 treasury.  What will the treasury be spent on?  CD's, guest speakers,

Yes Mark, the other 1/2 goes to KLUG.  Right now we are working on getting
501c3 Non- Profit status from the federal government.  This involves filing
fees and such to become a Non-Profit organization.    We are lucky enough to
have someone that has just gone through this filing procedure to help guide
us along, thereby avoiding some of the costly mistakes that people make.
Bob addressed part of what we will do with funds in his "State of KLUG Part
III" Message.   

We are also looking into getting a banner and different promo materials for
the functions that KLUG can have a presence at, along with speakers etc.  If
you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask!  Thanks for
