Nothing is "with" it, it is simply using a diffrent (probably older) version
of the kernel or at least some included driver. Slackware is not as studiously
maintained distribution as RedHat (which is commercial) or Debian (which is
used by big-brained people is goverment mantions). No flames please, it is
a decent disto that fills a particular purpose.
I'm assuming this is Slackware 3.5 (the current one)?
I've gotten this with RedHat under 2.0.30 kernel, never under 2.0.35.
