Anyway... From what I know of these beasts, the big no-no was using the
MasterCD from a different (esp. newer) machine.  I have strong suspicions that
the restore program does odd things like restoring FLASH BIOS and CMOS to the
original factory settings.  Of course, if the componant it's "restoring" is not
the componant it thinks it is, it'll get screwed up.  Plug'n'Play is a
wonderful thing.

Well, that's my suspicion, anyway.  Could be right, could be wrong.
