Check out the "ssh" package (secure shell).

It's like a "rlogin/rsh" package except it's encrypted
and allows you to run X programs through the connection
(optionally compressed).  Works great.

Otherwise you might be able to set your DISPLAY variable
with a telnet or rlogin connection to get X11 working.
