Just to show you I'm listening.... the Debian CD's have the same
standard packages for GCC and X11 that Red Hat does.  With the
software installed, you can adjust the video parameters the same as
you would in Red Hat.  The packages are named similarly, but they may
have different version numbers.  And they have the extension .deb.  If
