ok... i recently installed bsware 5.2 (clean install)  on two 
machines... and on either one i connect as usual and then start pppd as 
usual (pppd 115200 /dev/modem crtscts defaultroute) it starts.... stays 
running... i have nameservers and the like in /etc/resolv.conf
... but nothing can actually use the connection that it claims is 
there.... can't even ping an ip outside of my lan... so it's more than 
just a name resolution problem... the exact same settings worked under 
5.1 with kernels 2.0.35 and 2.0.34 both.... i'm suspecting it's either a 
ppp problem within the kernel or a problem with pppd...  it's rather 
annoying... i'm actually in windoze writing this......  any help would 
be apreciated....
