Re(2): Another new Linux User :)

On my computer science server running red hat, (i didn't set it up so I
dunno if my prof did something different but..) we had to make a "web"
directory in our home directory.

i dunno if this helps at all...

also would like to thank everyone in this entire list who knows their
stuff and submitted all the wonderful tips, my machine now boots up to
linux.  I even compiled the 2.0.36 kernel which I was very lost, however
succeded some how...

just wanted to say thanks.
