Graphics Card

I have a problem w/ my graphics card.  I am running redhat 5.0 and when
i got to install my graphics card under Metro X it doesnt have it.  My
graphics card is the STB Velocity 128 3D AGP (Nvidia Riva 128 chipset)
So i am stuck running under a standard VGA mode.  And my monitor isnt
supported i have a 17" EV700 (gateway 2k) and i want to run it in
800x600 and it wont suppose that either.  Is there anyway i can set it
up so i get more that like 3 colors? And maybe be able to run a few
things, because as it is now, i cant even open an Xterm window because i
cant see what i type.  Does redhat 5.2 support my graphics card and
monitor?  If so can i get a BSware copy? and does that have metroX or
any windows manager w/ it?
