Netscrape Bus Error

Under either netscape 4.5 or 4.08 any attempt at  "Starting Java"  kills
netscape with a "Bus Error".  Does netscape contain it's own JVM?  I have the
redhat RPM's installed,  the common and communicator.  I did a -e to remove the
old ones and installed the new ones (not an upgrade).  Prior to upgrading to
5.2 (I think I was at 5.0) and with Netscape 4.03 (I think) Java worked just
fine.  I have Blackdown's jvm installed on my machine and it runs several
large-ish java application with no problems.  Any one have any tips?

As a netscape hint (if you have lots of memory) I've found I can make netscape
more stable by setting my disk cache to 0Kb and my memory cache to 16Mb or
more.  It seems a little faster as well.
