the pnp sb shouldn't be a roblem at all..... just install it.... and in
bios set the option pnp os (or soemthing sim.) to no.... the modem
depends on the modem.... both the modem and sound card in this machine
are pnp with no problem....... the modem as long as it's a "real modem"
not a software "winmodem" should not be a problem either.... just put
them in and see if they work is the best thing you could do.... the
version of soundcfg in rh5.2 scans for pnp soundcards (as of this
version without seg. faulting if it isn't a real SB) :) and sets them up
loads the modules... and plays a test sound
