interesting problem........

ok...... i recently did some major hardware upgrading... (new ram mobo 
cpu.. case... vid card....) and...... my modem worked before.... and 
now..... i get messages like.. for example.. from kppp..... sorry, the 
modem is busy......... but nothing is using it....... and it still works 
in windows........ it's a boca internal plug and pray 33.6 .....  and it 
worked perfectly before..... it's on com 2 irq 3 (all the time... it 
doesn't move around) ........ any suggestions would be helpful...... 
well..... i guess thats about all there is to say....     i'll mess with 
it a bit more.... but...... so far it hasn't been cooperating.......... 
i've already done the usual make sure it's bios that is telling plug at 
play devices where to go and not leaving it up to the OS.....  umm
