Re: I am in need of assistance

Okay here's what I've done. I completely removed every partition on the
new hard drive. I re-partitioned the hard drive with

Partition	boot	start	end	File System
/dev/hda1 1	3	Linux Native /boot
/dev/hda2 4	169	Linux Native /
/dev/hda3 170	180	Linux Swap
/dev/hda4 186	1232	Win95 FAT32

When it sets up the boot loader, it didn't say it had a problem the second
time I did it, but the first time after re-partitioning the drive, it gave
me an error. Anyway after restarting it couldn't find the boot loader. I
booted using the boot disk and I ran lilo and it said added linux and
added win98. After reseting nothing happened again. I again booted with
the disk and ran lilo -v and it said it wrote the boot sector, but again
it didn't. So is there any suggestions? Also for Bruce, we just got a
notice that we are going to get 12 to 20 inches of snow tonight.
