Wait for a distribution unless you absolutely need a feature that's
only in the new 2.2 kernel -- or -- you don't mind playing on the
bleeding edge, manually updating packages and fixing things that go
wrong. There are a handful of incompatibilities between Redhat 5.2
and the new 2.2 kernel.
If you decide to try the 2.2 kernel anyway, make sure you can dual
boot between 2.2.x and 2.0.36.
Play on the bleeding edge and you may get cut . . .
