Actually, nothing's stopping any distribution (including BSWare) from
including the 2.2.0 kernel, only the time it takes to get the CD's
remastered.  There should be, as of tomorrow, a 2.2.1 kernel, which
fixes a couple of security leaks.  You could install the kernel, as
long as you have GCC installed correctly.  I'd be pleased to present a
tutorial on compiling your own kernel, it people are really
interested.  

I have 2.2.0-pre4 installed on one of my machines.  It cooks, and
2.2.0 final is supposed to be even better!  As soon as I have 2.2.1
installed, I'll tell you how it is....
