I think it might be a better idea to send such a message as a group. Rather
than flooding the mailing list with 30-odd messages, how about 1 message
with a list of names in it.

Something along the lines of:

"Congratulations on releasing 2.2 from all of us hear at the Kalamazoo Linux
Users Group,

<name 1>
<name 2>
.
.
.
<name n>

Keep up the good work"

Another idea would be to have everyone at a meeting sign a piece of paper,
scan it, and put it up on the web, then send the url to the mailing list.

BTW, when will we be having a "intro to two dot two" meeting?
