A long overdue note of thanks!

What a tremendous response to your last survey!  50 people.. nearly half
our mailing list!  THANKS to all of you that helped define the direction
of KLUG.  From that survey we have changed our meeting time.  The day
has stayed the same simply because that seems to be the best day for the
majority of the group.  Your input for the group is essential!

Right now our speakers, 15 in all, really need your help  From the first
survey we received some wonderful topic suggestions, and we need to know
what you the group would like to have presented.  The speakers want some
direction as to what you view to be the most important topics to cover.
Bruce made an announcement  to the mailing list this week about survey
4.  If you haven't filled it out yet, please do so.  It's available at:

It will be available through next Sunday, Feb. 7th.  Please fill it out
soon, as speakers are eager to see your responses and choose their
topics.

Another very encouraging sign was that 34 out of the 50 people have
volunteered to help us in various aspects of KLUG.  Everything from
proof-reading to maintaining the web site.  :)  WOW!  I was so
impressed.  A note to all of you that have volunteered a helping hand,
