DHCP & kernel 2.2.1

I've updated to kernel 2.2.1 and now DHCP fails to load, it detects my
network card fine(a digital tulip series). I was wondering if anyone else
has experienced any problems with dhcp under the new kernel, or might know
of some possible solutions?
