You can do it from the the command line with the "cdrecord" package at
http://www.fokus.gmd.de/research/cc/glone/employees/joerg.schilling/private/cdrecord.html
The package "xcdroast" provides a GUI frontend for "cdrecord".
Both packages are available as extras on my "BSware" CDR copy of Redhat
5.2.
(I use the command line to create BSware)
