Are you refering to NT Workstation? If you had to buy full versionsof both,
it would be around 700 bucks!!!

was around $500. <
It's CRAZY! Who has that kind of money to upgrade everytime a new version
is released? From what I've read, there is a major backlash building in the
corporate world on this "upgrade merry-go-round" (Do I hear Linux and Corel
Perfect Office???). I use maybe 1/3 of the features in Office 97. The rest
is bloat as far as I'm concerned.

clients. Correct me if I am wrong. <
I don't understand what you mean by this. When you purchase NT Server you
receive 5 user or client licenses. You then have to purchase additional
client licenses for around 35 bucks retail. No server client licenses are
included in Win31, WFW, Win95 or Win98. Actually the only exception was WFW
which included a MS Mail client for (what else) MS Mail Server. This is
actually better than Novell which requires you to buy "blocks" of clients
in 10, 25, 50, 100 and 250 increments. If you had a 10 user license, you
would have to upgrade to a 25 user license even though you might only need
3 additional users. I don't know if this has changed.
