So how would i do this?  When i load up Linux it says
hdc: ATAPI IDE CD-ROM drive (or somthing like that)
are u saying i have to edit the startup file or something that would change hdc to like hdx or
something?

Well all i want it to do it reconize it.. Once it atleast knows it there i am sure i can get the
rest.
